Since we ALWAYS get rained out for the middle school get together, here are some pics from the rehearsal on 9_17!

From Mr. Hruska...

First, I would like to say "Hope you are having a great summer!" Believe it or not, it's almost time for band camp, and not too early to be planning for the fall! For those who are new members to the high school band, welcome. To those who are returning, welcome back.

 

This goal of this packet it to provide you with all the information you need to participate successfully in band this summer and fall. Please read all information in this packet carefully, as some details have changed! See below for more information and what forms need to be filled out and returned to us.

 

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE FOR THIS YEAR

Please put these dates into your family calendar now to avoid conflicts. All performances are required and graded.

These dates have been entered into the Band Booster Calendar.

 

UNIFORM AGREEMENT FORM

Please sign and return to Mr. Hruska by July 13.

On Resources Page, as well.

 

EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION FORM

Needs to be returned to Mr. Hruska by July 13.

This form is required by the district. You only need to fill this form out ONCE. Originals will be turned into the high school office after copies are made!

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM

Needs to be returned to Mr. Hruska OR the CFC Office by August 17.

Marching band is a physical activity, All participating students are required by the district to receive a physical exam by a licensed doctor. Please be proactive about scheduling with your doctor.

Band Camp Details 2015!
PERRY HIGH SCHOOL BAND CAMP: JULY, 2015

Band camp is a week of intensive musical and physical preparation for the fall marching band season.

 

Attendance at band camp is required for all high school band students. Listed below is important information answering most questions about the camp.

 

BAND:

Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17, from 8-Noon

July 13 & 14 are freshman, new marchers, percussion and leadership only; 

July 15-17 is full band.

 

Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 from 8-4 PM

 

Parent Preview Performance: Thursday, July 23rd at 7pm in stadium (students fed dinner before)

 

DRILL TEAM / MAJORETTES:

Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 from 8-4 PM

 

Parent Preview Performance: Thursday, July 23rd  at 7pm in stadium (students fed dinner  before)
